21.1 COUNTA Formula The COUNTA formula is the opposite of the COUNTBLANK formula - it counts the number of cells that are not empty in a given range. The formula is: =COUNTA(value 1,value 2) There are two values so that you can find the number of cells in two separate sets of data.
